Kingston Hyper X question

Hey!

I have purchased KHX8500D2K2/4G (4gb 1066mhz kit of 2) and i was just wondering what
voltage settings to use. Both of the sticks have labels that have 2.3V marked
on them. But when i look up in Kingston Technology Company - HyperX DDR2 -
they have recommended voltage setting at 2.2V.

So what gives? Which one should i use? Thanks.

Re: Kingston Hyper X question

I would just pop it in there and see what happens. If there is a issue
with it, then I would go into bios and check the setting, and I would
manually set it to 2.3volts, or 2.2volts, whatever the system is happy
with.

Re: Kingston Hyper X question

2.3V is the maximum the RAM can handle and 2.2 is the recommended Voltage to run.
As manic said, put it in and see how it runs.
