Boot virus

Good morning,
I am having a lot of trouble with my computer that sometimes will not boot up. I have to try a number of times before finally getting windows. I also sometimes get the dredded blue screen and have to try again to bootup.
My computer when it does boot up gives me considerable trouble with the programs sticking.
I am using PC Tools Spyware Doctor but I beleive that there is a Boot virus and I would like to have help in getting rid of it.
can anybody help me.
Many thanks William G Paynter

Re: Boot virus

Check in the Bios for the Voltages 3.3v, 5v, 12v, and Temps of the CPU and chipset.
What are the Specs of your system IF branded like a Dell, HP Etc Brand and Model.
If custom Build Brands and models of the MB, CPU, Video Card, PSU?
