CoD5 graphic issues

I am having graphic issues when i play cod5 on single player. It's almost like it's part of the special effects, it looks like clouds of changing white to green to black smoke. This doesn't affect the gameplay at all. I've noticed on some stages i'll see it right off the back but on other stages it'll show up later as i progress through the stage. I was told that my video cards were running a little hot, so i bought 2 zalman vf1000 led vga coolers for my dual 8800 gt's (G92) and it seemed like the problem was solved but then came out of no where again. This is really annoying when i play the game on single player.

Re: CoD5 graphic issues

Ok i took attached the temps during idle and during stress using your GPU'z software. I also downloaded the riva turner but don't know how to look for the "artifacts" in my graphics cards that you mentioned. Thanks and hopefully you can help me solve my issue.

Re: CoD5 graphic issues

Yes it only happens when i play it on single player. The first time i installed it and played it there was graphic corruption, but i then updated the latest video card driver and the problem went away and i passed the entire game without the problem. Then out of no where it showed up again.

Re: CoD5 graphic issues

your PSU isn't powerful enough

I would get a 650w PSU at least

Corsair 650
$100
after rebate $75

Ok, i downloaded the 182.06 driver and the same problem persisted. I emailed the company who built the pc for me and they told me that the power supply that i have was sufficient for both cards. I know I said it was 500 watts but it turns out that the one i have is 550 watts SLi ready. etc... Do you guys still think it's the PSU? Thanks!

Re: CoD5 graphic issues

The 750W corsair is ooooooodles for two 8800GT. They only consume 18A max together. The 650W has 52A on the 12V rail which is LOADS for 8800SLI. Don't waste your money.

Update Direct X
Update WIndows
Make sure you have the latest game patches http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch...ar-Patch.shtml
Boot the fan speed to 100% when playing and make sure your case airflow is good.
