Need some help with Ram
Hi,
Firstly, I like to give my many thanks for finding this very good place for help, thanks!! Every time same poblem with my computer before it's goes down, so before damaging my Motherboard again the 4th time, I need some help to prevent this kind of problem to happen again. This is the problem: I switch on the power, and the CPU light goes on (sometimes light blinking with peeps continiuos) but the monitor doesn't even show any activity or does not run. I switch the power off and try again. Can be the same problem again but sometimes it runs ok. Is anyone can help me with this kind of problem? Anyway, I have no tech experience at all with computer but I tried to skip the Ram to the other Slot and seems running ok again without problem for about a few weeks and again, the same problem arise, so I skip the Ram to the other Slot or try just to push it in and out few times as an idea of rubbing if any corrosion inside, if I'm right. I need an exact solving solution for this matter so please, if anyone can help me out before I trapped again. Thanks. |

Re: Need some help with Ram
and welcome to the ForumThat is often a sign that the power supply is weak or underpowered. Can you open the case, look at the power supply and tell us the brand and wattage?
