Memory Support
Lets say the motherboard has the following supported,
533MHz DDR2 667MHz DDR2 800MHz DDR2 what would happen if you were to use, 2GB 333MHz and 1 GB 266MHz? Do you have to use the specified ones? |

Re: Memory Support
DDR = Double Data Rate, the ram reads and writes on the up and down of the pulse.
So 333(.5) X 2 = 667 Ram and 266 x 2 = 533 Ram. When installed together they will all run at the slower speed. |
