I'm wondering if anyone has a solution or more idea to this problem. I have exactly the same issue. The new computer would restarts randomly, and once started, the time it takes for the next restart will get shorter and shorter. When it's taken to the store the problem cannot be reproduced.

The automatic reboot is turned off from the OS and there's no BSOD when the restart happens. The temperature seems normal when it happens and the machine is not running any heavy load application.

The restarts are pretty predictable though. It'd first run fine for a while (maybe 15 or 20 mins), and then restarts. From that point on the time it takes for the restarts will be shorter, and eventually (if I let it to continue this restart thing) it will restarts immediately on boot. That's why I was thinking it may be a heat/fan issue but running hwmonitor it doesn't show anything abnormal. Also, the BIOS default is Power Off on any power loss. If that works as what I expect, if there's any outlet issue shouldn't the machine just shuts down instead of rebooting right away?

Does it worth investing in a UPS? With a UPS the machine should be isolated from the outlet?
