Weird RAM Recognition
I just bought 4 GB of RAM to replace the 2 GB I had. (this specifically http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227334)
I installed the RAM, Windows booted fine, but what's weird is that when I run dxdiag it only detects 3 GB. Meanwhile, CPUZ detects all 4. Any ideas what the problem might be? I have an ASUS P5B Deluxe Mobo, GeForce 7950 GT 512 MB, a Thermaltake Toughpower 600W PSU, and an Intel C2D E6700. Thanks for any help! |

Re: Weird RAM Recognition
No, your issue is that you have a 32 bit OS which is limited to at MOST in the best of cases, 3.75 GB of RAM. A 64-bit OS which I have, theoretically can support 128 GB of RAM.
