So here's my pickle,
My computer is just shutting off on its own. No blue screen, no error warnings, nothing. It just turns off randomly. Here is what I have done so far: Virus scan: Clean Check Disk: Fine Temp: Cool Safe Mode: Works fine. What I was doing when it started: I was using iTunes to convert music from ACC to MP3 and it started. Now it happens 30 sec or so after boot. Specs: Win Vista SP1 ASUS P5K Mobo Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz 4 GB 1066MHz RAM (DDR2) 2x 500GB SATA HDD's Evga GeForce 8600 GT Vcard The ram and second HDD are only 3 days old. Not sure what to do but it seems like its a software thing if Safe mode works fine and the scans turned up ok. Any help would be great. |
