OS: win xp service pack 2 and vista service pack 2 both 32bit


Do i need a new PSU if so which one

hi im just upgrading my crappy pc it has a 'MSI K9MM-V Socket AM2 Micro ATX Motherboard MS-7312-020, VIA K8M800 Chipset, Supports AMD AM2 CPU, Dual DDR2 800, SATA RAID' (MOBO) and iv just bought an Athlon 64 x2 5200+ (CPU) and a Sapphire Radeon HD 3850 512 mb (graphics card) my current PSU is a casecom model: ATX 500w is this good enought for the upgrade if not what PSU should i buy which if fails doesnt ruin my new cpu and graphics because they cost alot for me at the moment. id like some recomendments too if the casecom model: ATX 500w is not good enough.i will also be buying 2 slabs of ddr2 ram 1gb each (total 2gb)

i am in the uk and i dont really know much about PSU's so one more thing to add to my thread is that do all psu's have the same cables aswell because there is no point me buying one finding out i cannot connect it to things.

The better ones will have more then enough of the correct plugs and cables you should be able to find the Corsair 650tx at several online stores in the UK.
