Got a new PSU, black screen...

Hey, I just purchased a new power supply and for some reason, after opening my computer, windows Xp SP2 loads, but right after that all i get is a black screen.

The PSU that i just bought is a GAMEXSTREAM 600 w.

I've changed power supplies in many computers before,so i'm sure that everything is plugged correctly.I'm just not sure what is wrong here and how to fix it....
My videocard is an Nvidia 8800GTS 512, but i don't think my videocard is the problem ( i had it running on a 350 watt PSU before getting this one... )

EDIT: after leaving it on the black screen for about 5-10 minutes, the login screen finally shows up when it used to show up almost immediatly after the windows loading screen. In addition to this, the displays on my computer are messed up ( using 2 screens ), and the audio drivers don't work well.. ( Sounds like sound coming out of a statiky first gen nintendo console )

Re: Got a new PSU, black screen...

Check these issues:
Reseat video card.

Molex plugged to motherboard.

Check voltages in the Bios.

Make sure any required power leads are connected to the video card.

Check the device manager to make sure there are no red or yellow marks in that area.

Try to update the drivers from the device manager.

Check for newer drivers for the video card.

Reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers.
Please list computer specs so we know what we are looking for.
