after flashing bios i get black screen
so i think this is the right topic for this......
yesterday i bought 2x 1 gb ram ddr1 (buffalo) i have gigabyte ga-k8ns (rev 1.x) motherboard which supports max 3 gb and when i insert one card it works perfectly but when i insert both i get a black screen and it doesn't want to boot. So i had an idea and i download @bios, utility to flash bios automatic via internet. After downloading new bios and flashing it it asked me to restart my computer i restarted it but now i cant boot it anyhow, if i put any ram card (from 256-1gb) i get a black screen... I know that flashing went wrong, but do you know how can i fix it so it can work again ??? thanks in advance

Re: after flashing bios i get black screen
Try clearing the CMOS by unplugging the AC power, moving the the jumper from pins 2&3 to pins 1&2 then back to 2&3, the jumper should be near the coin cell battery and labeled Crl Rtc or Cms Clr or similar replug and see if it boots.
In case you didn't figure this out > Flashing the Bios from within Windows is Never a Good Idea, |
