Is my new ram compaitable?

I've a Lenovo 3000 Y500 3AQ Laptop currently having 1 gb RAM Ramaxel (PC2-5300 333Mhz).

I want to upgrade my system with 3 gb ram i.e addition of a 2gb ram in the empty slot. I'm getting a 2gb ram from market but its speed is 677Mhz. Will it make any problem for the two rams of diff speed working together?

PC2 5300 is 667Mhz Ram, It's DDR2 Or Double Data Rate (version)2 so double 333(.5) you get 667Mhz.
