My System

I think my power supply died...

Hello everyone,

I just built a new computer the other day and everything was working great. Until today the computer just shut off. I wasn't doing anything instensive or anything, all I was doing was downloading an update on ubuntu. So I turned it back on and everything worked fine for a couple of hours, then it shut off again. So I turned it back on and again, it shut down a half hour later. I fear it is the power supply. Its one of those cheap "power up" ones that came with my case. If you guys could help me make sure that it is the power supply, I would be very grateful. I would hate to replace it and have it not work anyway. I already opened the case up and looked for loose connections too. I didn't find any.
Here are my complete specs:

AMD Athlon x2 6000, 3Ghz
Ecs GF8200A
2 GB pc 6400 ram, kingston
40 GB hard drive, 7200 rpm. SATA.
SATA Dvd drive
450 watt power supply (probably a power up, it came in the case I bought)

Re: I think my power supply died...

Take the side off the case and look at the brand name of the power supply so we can look at specs and report back here.

And the video card is?????
