question about memory
I want to upgrade my memory and i see 2 open slots on my mother board. The label sticker on memory stick says 'hynix 512 mb IRx8 PC2-5300u-555-12 .
Does this mean i can buy any memory stick that is PC2-5300? ( its a dell E521 and specs says : 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs ). |

Re: question about memory
so. that means. i can buy, lets say. ddr2 pc2-6400 or something like that. if i put it in, it will just slow down and adjust to my motherboard but it should still work fine? My other one is pc2-5300, 512mb x 2 . does it matter if u have 2 different speeds of memory??
