computer does not start
My other computer just doesn't turn on. I have tried changing the fuse, but no luck. There is just no reponse when I push the on button on the main machine, what could my problem be? Please reply, as my week will be ruined if I don't get this sorted! Thanks

Re: Hi really need some help here!!
Try using the computer at a different socket. Some PSU's have a switch on the back, make sure this is switched on. If that fails makes sure all connections from the PSU are firmly attached to the motherboard. Check that the cable from the power button is firmly attached to the motherboard too. Also check that the motherboard is not placed in the case in such a way that any of it makes direct contact with the case, i've seen that before where someone didn't use the proper parts to mount the motherboard into his new build which earthed it or something and caused it not to respond.
If all that fails. It could be the PSU has had it, or possibly the motherboard. |
