is this psu okay?
I am in the process of buying the parts for my first build and i am not too sure about the psu i just bought
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341012 here is the rest of my build http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130182 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103211 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136010 eventually i will be adding a mediocre graphics card but for now i dont even have enough to buy the processor and mobo ;p the reason i have doubts about the psu i picked is cause when i looked at the rails the 3.3v amp is higher than one of the 12v ones, but when you add the two 12v rails amps together it is higher is this okay? |

Re: is this psu okay?
I agree completely with HawMan on this one. You need a bare minimum of a very good 650 and to be quite honest, I would not run that card in my personal computer without a quality 700 or 750 watt power supply.
IMHO, you need one of these: Seasonic M12-700 Watt Corsair 750-TX-750 watt Thermaltake Toughpower 750 watt

Re: is this psu okay?
Want the best of both worlds...Here is a real steal at $59.99 after mail in rebate. This is a very high quality power supply that will easily do the job for you and you won't beat this price anywhere IMHO.
Coolermaster Real Power Pro 750 watt

Re: is this psu okay?
Thanks again for all the responses and suggestions on other power supplies. Although i do not have enough money too spend a lot on the psu so i will most likely just get a cheaper video card. Also if anyone knows if its okay to have 3v3v at 30a,5v at 30a and the two 12v are 18a each, from my knowledge i know that it is bad to have the 12v lower amps than the 3.3 or 5 but i am not sure if it is a good thing to have them be lower individually but higher added together?
