New RAM no boot
Hi
I have a fairly old pc and decided to give it a bit of a boost by fitting more memory. Unfortunately when I fitted the new RAM the pc would not boot?? Motherboard ASUS P4B266 which should take up to 2Gb of DDR PC2100 memory new sticks fitted into slots 1 & 2, then individually into slot 1 with no difference. The new stcks are 1GB PC2100 DDR 266 MHZ 184-PIN 1 GB DDR266 2100 DIMM HD. Any ideas why this does not work? cheers Steve |

Re: New RAM no boot
For Ram use a configuration utility on the ram manufactures web site to get the part number and google that for the best price like the one at www.crucial.com or www.corsair.com
