Possibly a Power supply Problem?
Well, all the hardware in my pc has been running really hot lately. HDD's in the 50's, graphics card in the 80's etc. In Celsius of coarse. I've never had an air flow problem before. This overheating just started randomly a couple of weeks ago. Now I even have my side panel off for more air. I turn off my pc and let it cool down, but once I restart it it heats up again in a matter of minutes without even loading anything. Could this possibly be a power supply problem? Any advice would be great.
Thanks, DeCaffe Specs: Graphics card: 8800gts 320mb RAM 650 Watt power supply 2gb DDR2 800 RAM Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2.4 GHz HDD's: 150gb 10,000 rpm 250gb 7,200 rpm 500gb 7,200 rpm Last edited by DeCaffe; 11-03-2008 at 01:55 PM. |

Re: Possibly a Power supply Problem?
My psu is an Antec, not positive which model. The 12v voltage was 12.196v, and under CPU Temps it said: Tj. Max 85 degrees, Core #0 76 degrees, and Core #1 74 degrees.
