8gb ram problem

Hi all, has anyone out there managed to get the max amount of ram (8gb) recognised on the following mb Asus M2N-VM DVI, running os vista ultimate x64 edition, i posted similar request yesterday and was advised to check my bios version, and to update. if anyone has the same board, perhaps they can advise on the best or latest bios version to be used. as you can tell i am a complete novice, but enjoy trying to learn. any further help greatfully received,. thanks.
