Ram increase voltage

I'm planning to increase the voltage of my ram from 1.8 to 1.9 because it stops random reboots. I also know that it might not be the problem because my processor is really hot(heatsink off the box) but getting new heatsink. But either way i want to know if this would affect my ram lasting longer then it normally would.

Re: Ram increase voltage

what do they list the voltage range for the ram as on the makers site
you do not run a computer without the h/sink unless you are planning to buy a new cpu within the following hour

Re: Ram increase voltage

newegg only lists 1.8v gives no range for ajustment
better quality ram usually has a voltage range try it at the 1.9v
