Smile Help Choosing PSU: Simple :D

Okely Doke!

The Rig im planning on building will more than likely be the following although its susceptible to change as it has several times already:

Q6600
Asus P5Q-E Mobo
GTX 260
RAM undecided.
Hardrive SP2504C*
And a DVD drive too factory line in title to write out*
*came with my existing 'pre-build' dell computer...

A decent PSU for this setup i would imagine would be 800W (plenty) but there are so many brands, and they all have good reviews for PSU's suitable for me.... so any suggestions?

also i have already an Antec 900 Case so a modular PSU would be much much much more suitable

Re: Help Choosing PSU: Simple :D

In opting for the 100% modular route i dropped to 750 watt and reconsidered the options i lazily dropped to finally pick the:

Silverstone ST75F :D

Opinion? ;)

Re: Help Choosing PSU: Simple :D

That is an excellent power supply. There are some better deals right now on NewEgg.com for the 750 (or at least there were deals yesterday) Corsair, and the Corsair is top-of-the-line and even better than that excellent Silverstone.

Re: Help Choosing PSU: Simple :D

just looked it up, very nice but i think id prefer the fully modular PSU which is practically the same price (on newegg).
thankyou very much for your help though. It will take something drastic to chnage my mind about the Silverstone ST75F.

Re: Help Choosing PSU: Simple :D

You will not go wrong with a Silverstone. Considered one of the premier power supplies in that industry and I recommend them on a regular basis. Go for it!
