Memory Compatibilities (quick question)

Hello everyone i have a quick question concerning RAM. ahead of time i wanna say couldnt match my computer on any of the ram manufacturers website.

I currently own a laptop from the website Ibuypower.

ibuypower

I am currently using 2 sticks of 1GB pc2-5300 mushkin ram (ddr2)

i am looking to upgrade to 4 using 2x 2gb sticks and was wondering if pc 5400 ram would be compatible with my computer

if all else fails ill buy more mushkin online but I figured id give this a shot.

thanks ahead of time for any info anyone can provide.

Re: Memory Compatibilities (quick question)

I would stay with the PC 5300 2x 2gig sticks
and they're SO-Dimm's as opposed to SDram.
