quick question on ram..

I want to ask you guys some questions about memory ram.

here is the information i found from my product specification.

maximum supported: 4 GB (2x2GB)
Speed supported: PC2-5300 MB/sec
type: 240 pin, DDR2 SDRAM

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...roduct=3552366
above is the product specification website

now, i figure it's time for me to upgrade my pc so.... i want to buy a pair of 2x2GB ram... but i dont know which one i needed to buy....
even though it says speed supported is pc2 5300.... but can i still buy something like this: <4GB kit (2GBx2) / 240-pin DIMM / DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module> or <DDR2 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400 800MHz / Non-ECC CL5 / 240-pin / Unbuffered DIMM /

(well, i know that my vista 32 bit wont support all the 4GB...but is it bad for me?)

i found these two down here might be something that's good for me right now....

Re: quick question on ram..

Your wasting money buying faster ram. Your bd specs state 5300. You can buy faster ram and it just might work, but you could be buying trouble, i.e. voltage probs.
Stick with what the manufacturer tells you!
