RAM Slots issue
Hello. I have two kits ddr2 rams and 4 slots for ddr2 ram to my mobo.
One kit with 1 gb ram and the other kit with 2 gb ram. Is there any problem if i put the 1 gb kit near the processor or i should put the 2 gb kit near the processor slots? |

Re: RAM Slots issue
hi johny,
this question cannot be answered because there are no details. we would need to know the mobo make-n-model, same goes for the ram. generally, the mobo manual needs to be referenced for type and placement of ram, and every mobo has it's own particular configuration. there is also a limit on the maximum amount of ram supported. you can find a copy of the manual on the cd that came with the mobo. also, i suggest visiting the manufacturers website for driver updates, and read the faqs page too for new info about your mobo.
