The better memory?

Thanks to this forum I now know why my computer occasionally freezes while running 3d game applications. The freezes aren't serious; they last about a minute before everything runs smoothly again. It's just very annoying and prevents me from playing online.

So yeah, turns out my computer is under supplied in power. I know what new PSU I'm going to get, but I'd also like a RAM upgrade as well.

Can anybody point out the good/bad RAM out of this list?

Re: The better memory?

Sorry I uploaded the wrong image to imageshack, I edited my post with the latest one : )

I'm looking for 2gb of ram (2 x 1gb, dual channel kit) to insert into my computer to add-on to my current memory.

Re: The better memory?

Out of that list, The Corsair Dominator Wins it for me.

However, i wouldnt Add it to you're current RAM as it may cause stability problems - The RAM will also most likely run in Single Channel too due to the different Speeds.

Re: The better memory?

So do you think I should replace my old RAM rather than add on to it?

Re: The better memory?

Yep, Its highly recommended.

How much RAM are you needing? I've used 2GB and its enough for running Games / Applications. 4GB+ Are overkill unless you want to do lots of Video / music editing.

Re: The better memory?

I don't need more than 3gb, especially since my OS is only 32-bit, but 2gb should be enough anyway : )

I'll wait another day before I consider ordering to see if anybody else comes up with another memory suggestion...
