[SOLVED] psu upgrade
i have an old emachine w4685 here are the specs. http://www.techsupportforum.com/newt...ewthread&f=210
the power supply is going out and i was going to get a seasoinic 350w psu. The problem i see is the power connectors. since it has a ultra ata hd and the psu has sata connectors. I am a little confused. will the psu still work? or do i need adaptors....and where can i find them. Thanks |

Re: psu upgrade
Hi Shotgn
It probably only has about two SATA connectors and the rest will be Molex, which is what you need for your drive. Check the Seasonic website for full spec of the power supply and ensure it will physically fit in your pc case. |
