computer crashes

i just recently upgraded my computer with a 512mb ram pc2700 generic brand, a geforce 6200 and a 300w from what i have read online most people said that a 300w is enough to power a gf 6200 so now am wondering why my computer crashes every hr

More hardware specs are needed. But in general a 300watt psu is
always suspect.

for a 6200, I'd say a MINIMUM of about 12-15 amps on the 12 volt rail would be needed.

For proper support: what are you running? graphics, cpu, m/board, ram, PSU brand wattage
PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.
