Replacing Bad PSU to Good PSU

For my "hand-on" experience before I could become certified techs, I have been doing few system diagnostics most of system are bad and I was hoping I could make bad system to work again (Only if its not Severe)... As of now, I have encounter one system with bad PSU by doing bench test following this limk --> HERE

It was confirmed the system do have bad PSU prior to DMM reading, So, in order to determine if Other components isn't bad affected by PSU, I could use good PSU to test it... But only concern is.... Bad PSU runs 250 watt and a good PSU i runs 750 watts, in order to do System test with good PSU... would wattage affect anything even if both have same number of PSU connector (20 pins)

I have strong feelings it won't affect anything but I still want to be sure by getting second opinions...

Let me know

Re: Replacing Bad PSU to Good PSU

No it will not affect it, the computer only draws the watts that it needs.
