Wrong method to choose memory upgrades
![]() FYI, memory MUST be an EXACT match to the motherboard. If you use written specs, they tend to be missing critical data. NEVER USE STORE SALESPERSON ADVICE. The ONLY true authority on what memory to use is the manufacturer of the motherboard. I highly suggest you go to 4AllMemory WEB site and use their [Check My System]. This will download a small temporary applet that will read your motherboard, then return a WEB page showing what you already have + compatible memory upgrades. I highly suggest you print & file this page for the future. You do not have to buy from 4AllMemory, but their prices are reasonable. I was pointed to this site by my boss at corporate IT when I had to do memory upgrades on system in my division.
