Power Supply Problem!
I just bought this power supply for my dad. I've tried it in 3 different PCs and cannot get it to turn on.
The power is plugged in, the voltage is set to 110V, the switch is on, and both connectors and plugged into the motherboard. When I try to power on the PC nothing happens....no spinning fans, no power, no nothing! This PSU is PLENTY to run my dads system (amd 3400, geforce4 ti 4600 128mb, 2gbs ram, 80gb sata hard drive, cd/dvd burner, 92mm fan, 80mm fan, and a 120mm. Even with nothing plugged in this PSU gives no power. What's interesting is on one of the mobos there is a light that turns on when you plug the power cord into the PSU (before the PC is on) - This light is on, but still no power. Should I RMA this PSU or is there something i'm missing? Please don't suggest power supplies or tell me your perferences. I am just looking to fix this or RMA for another. Thanks!! |

Re: Power Supply Problem!
You most likely got a DOA supply, so I would RMA it ASAP. That does happen from time to time with new power supplies.
