no power on computer
I think it might be the power supply. Turned all my computers off when we set off bug bombs. When I turned them back on, my sons wasn't getting any power. Changed the cord, didn't help. Could there be a switch somewhere? It is a Dell OptiPlex GX1. On mine, I have a switch on the back that I have to flip off then back on sometimes.

Is your AVR is connected directly to an outlet,, If it is connected to a extension wire connect it directly to an outlet. If it still doesn't work connect other appliances to that outlet and check if there is a power. If there is a problem, There is a probability that there is a problem on your power supply...

when you have to flip the back switch on and off to get the computer to boot it indicates a faulty or underpowered psu
