Re: Fan came broken?
It is quite possible it came broken, and I would RMA it if the fan doesn't spin. In addition, when you RMA it, try to get them to sell you a power supply that is of good quality, because the one you have purchased is simply not a good power supply at all. Stick with one of these brand names:
Seasonic - any model Corsair - any model Thermaltake - "Toughpower" series only Coolermaster - "Real Power Pro" series only PC Power & Cooling - any model Silverstone - any model

Re: Fan came broken?
Ahh ok thanks, ill do that.
I need 2x 6pin pcie connectors and atleast 450 watts so i can power my new 9800 gtx. I'm also on a budget, so my price range on this would be 50-80 or so. I found one that meets the above, and is one of the brand names you mentioned, tumbleweed. Do you think this would be ok? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151040 |

Re: Fan came broken?
No you will need more than 450 to power a 9800 card and the rest of your system.
You will need at least this to ensure trouble free operation http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005
