Blue screen of epic death

Ok, so I recently upgraded my RAM from 512mb to 1.5gb and for a short while (like 3 days) it worked absolutely fine then suddenly my computer begins to restart itself randomly and so I disabled automatic restart to see the blue screen of death and find out the problem. All I really need is just an analysis of what you guys think the problem might be.

Heres roughly what it said:

STOP: 0x00000050 (0xE97035c0, 0x00000000,
0x8054AFCB, 0x00000001)

Something about removing or uninstalling/reinstalling (which I have tried already and didn't work) any recently installed hardware to prevent further harm to your system blah blah blah...

Flame away at me being a noob with computers please and please don't tell me the hardware is faulty!

try re-seating the memory. press down only as hard as needed to seat it, you should hear 2 simultaneous clicks. Let us now if it works.

How many memory slots does the motherboard have on your computer? A good program to test memory errors with is "memtest86".
