Mother RAM limits???
Here are my pc specs. It's been heavily upgraded since, but the motherboard is still the same. The processor it came with is actually 2.1, not 2.0, but w/e.
I'm looking to upgrade the operating system to Vista Business 64-bit so I can bring the RAM higher. It says "Maximum Allowed 4 GB (4 x 1 GB)." Does this mean the motherboard won't be able to use a 2GB stick? Or that if I do, will it only be able to use 4gb of however much RAM I install? Just want to know before I go and buy this if I need a new mobo first. |
