PC wont turn on?

Hello

My mum was having trouble with her internet, so she called the helpline, and they told her to switch the psu off and on again.

Well not the PC won't turn on again! I have been over this morning, have got the internet to work again (router needed resetting!) But i figure out why the pc wont turn on?

I have tried all the cables, and making sure ram and harddrives are all plugged in etc and nothing is loose, but cant see any fault.

You press the power button and nothing happens, its completly dead! Any ideas?

Re: PC wont turn on?

Hey mate,
Unplug cable from PSU, wait for 30 seconds and put cable back into PSU...
Try to start PC...
If this does not help, can you borrow PSU from a friend and try to start mom's PC...
If you start PC with friends PSU, then your PSU is dead I am afraid...
Report back please...

Re: PC wont turn on?

If you have the little voltage switch on the back of the power supply make sure it is set to the proper voltage for your country.
