My computer turns on but doesn't start up

Today out of the blue my monitor freezes then suddenly 'goes to sleep' while my computer is still running.
I can't do anything so i turn off the computer and restart, the fan turns on but that's about it, it doesn't start up orgo anywhere beyond the fan humming.

It happened while playing a game and i think it might have to do with my video card, but don't really have a clue what to look for when I took the side casing off.
The video card is the kind built into the motherboard, so i cant really look at it.
I'm kind of freaking out right now XP and posting this from another computer, but id like to try and figure out what happened myself before having to take it in somewhere or something.

If you need some info about the comp just be a lil specific when asking because im somewhat clueless about that kind of stuff >.>, but i can ge t the info, just need to know whats needed.
