good day to all!
hi this is my first post just wanna ask a question.
i have an old p4vmm2 mobo and i wanted to put a 2 x 256mb ddr 400 or a 512mb ddr 400. will the ram be compatible to my mobo?

Is these your specs. If so, I don't think it will handle the ddr 400's. I googled the MB
and this what came up. Seems like it only supports the pc2100 memory. 266mhz 184 pin.

It will work but the RAMs speed will be downclocked to 266mhz

its exactly the spec of my mobo. ive tried the 400mhz and it works. i guess when the ram says 400mhz it means its maximum ram speed
