Windows virtual memory is too low?
A while back, I would get a pop-up saying that Windows virtual memory is low. So I was told that I needed more memory. So I bought more memory. Well now it is doing it again!
Can anyone help me figure out why this is? Do I need to clean things up a bit? I can't possibly need more memory already? I did just go from AVG 7 to AVG 8 could that effect things?

Re: Windows virtual memory is too low?
While I am waiting for someone to help me, I ran Windows disk cleanup. I deleted what it recommended and also selected compress old files. But can I delete "Temporary files" too? It didn't select it itself.
Thank you!

Re: Windows virtual memory is too low?
Hi Susanna;
I always delete my temporary files. As for your memory issue you can try increasing the size of your page file. I think you want to increase it to about the same size as your ram. Either that or 1.5 times the size of your ram, you can google it. Although someone might correct me here. You can view your page file control panel/system/Advanced/Under Performance click Advanced/Under the next advanced tab click the change button under virtual memory. Hope this helps.

Re: Windows virtual memory is too low?
Thanks for your reply.
Looks like it is set at custom. It says that my total paging file size is 449 MB. I have 1 GB of ram. It recommends 1534 MB and has 19368 MB available. Should I set it for system managed size?
