Stacking Corsair DDR2-800 2x2 and 1x2

Hi, i am looking for some opinions on this.

I recently upgraded from Corsair DDR2 800 1gb x 2 (2 total)
to Corsair DDR2 800 2gb x 2 (4 total)

They are from the same line of Ram (same look and everything)

Is it ok for me to slap the 2x1 in with the 2x2's for a total of 6 gigs of ram?

What would the loss be here? I'm thinking of just getting 4x2 (8 total) soon anyways. But i was still wondering.

I hard swap between XP32bit and Vista 64bit.

*another question would be - what about a new 4x2's along with the older corsair 2x2??

thanks guys!

Be very, very careful about mixing RAM. The DIMMs must be an exact match.

Also, look at these links:

RAM, Virtual Memory, Pagefile and all that stuff

Memory Limitations of 64-bit Versions of Windows XP

Complete memory dumps are not available on computers that have 2 or more gigabytes of RAM

"Out of Memory" error message because of the desktop heap limitation in Windows Vista

Re: Stacking Corsair DDR2-800 2x2 and 1x2

I just added some ocz 800MHz to my XMS2 667MHz two 2GB sticks of each, is this safe or should I take two sticks out? If its safe how do I set up regular speeds, even the 800MHz OCZ ram is running at 667
