Using Non-mac Ram on a Mac
So I upgraded my laptop from 1gb to 2gb a while back and I was left with 2x512mb chips. My brother has an older mac powerbook4 and he only has 512mb of ram. I look at his chip and what do you know, every specification is the same as my old ram. I have heard that mac brand ram only works on mac or something of the sort, but does it matter if all the specifications match?
