[SOLVED] Power Supply!!!!

There is a red switch on the back of my power supply that goes between 115 and 230. What purpose does this switch serve other than to confound and bewilder me?

Thats The Voltage. Most Likely You Will Leave It On 115v. Europe Is 230v.

If you live in Europe your line voltage would be 230 so you would set the switch to 230v in the states it's 115 so 115v.
