Memtest results need help
Hi all, I decided to run memtest because my ETQW was crashing after being ingame for anywhere from 5 mins to 45 mins. it would skip (sometimes crazy diagonal zigzag lines on the screen) and then instant BSOD. I was not very amused. SO i ran memtest for 10 hours but am not exactly sure what to make of it. I'm fairly certain i have
"OCZ Reaper Hpc Edition PC2-6400 DDR2 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-15-2T Dual Channel" (i'll check if thats even right, embarrassing not to know lol) in an asus p5E mobo ![]() ![]() ![]() Thx guys |

Re: Memtest results need help
I've tested them separately with no errors each on memtest. BUT then tested each separately in game and they both crash. I've tried different drivers for vid card, i dont know what to do

Re: Memtest results need help
nv4_disp error returned, sooner than ever, its not overheating and i've tried every driver under the sun. and it can't be conflicting with any other program because its a fresh XP install.

Re: Memtest results need help
you may have a memory model incompatability / I would try another pair of ram sticks
like the Corsair XMS DDR2-800 PC26400 2 x one gig matched pair kit timings 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1 volts look on newegg BTW: have you checked the OCZ memory selector to be sure the model stick models you are using have been tested with your board ? which model board do you have ?
