Advice on memory
I have a dell XPS 4th gen p4 3.6
i can have up to 4gb of memory, someone said I should get 4 sticks that are all the same and they run in dual channel or something to that affect? can anyone give me some advice on the best way to go if i want to get 4gb? there is a single 4gb stick available..any advantage ? or should i stick with 4x1gb or maybe 2x 2gb??? HELP! |

before you get 4 gigs are you running vista 64 or vista 32 bit? If 32 bit, then you best stick with 3 gigs. and it would be best if they stay the same.
in addition if you need dual channel, you need pairs and they should be the same
