Which RAM is faster?
Hi guys
Can someone tell me which of these types of RAM would be faster? 2x1GB sticks DDR2 800mhz 4-4-4-12 or 2x1GB sticks DDR2 1066mhz 5-5-5-18 dominator series. Both are XMS Ram Chips. My rig currently consists of Asus Rampage Formula Motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale Core Gainward Nvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra 768MB 1000W Silverstone Power Supply On Board Sound Card I dunno if this info is necessary, but I thought I'd better make sure. Thanks in advance for any replies |

Re: Which RAM is faster?
Thanks for the replies guys, i went with the 1066 dominator series. After taking one set back cos of errors, I got it working, runs great.
Just as a heads up, according to my supplier the 1066 dominator series is going wrong quite a lot, so if anyone upgrades to that, make sure you test it as soon as you get it. |
