PC Freezing

Firstly, Sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't realy sure where to post this...

A few days ago my PC froze without warning.. no blue screen, no reset.. just froze... No idea why. A Day later it did it again twice while i was playing COD4, kinda got angry but shruged it off. and again today, it froze twice, while gaming. Now im worried and i wanna know what is causing the problem...

I have done a mem test. I booted up from a CD and let the program do its thing, said nothing was wrong with the RAM

checked my vaultages with some kind of hardware monitor (pic below)

anyone got any ideas?

Edit: BTW, Specs are-
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600
Antec TruePower Trio 550W ATX PSU
Corsair Twin2x 2048 (2x1024 sticks) DDR2 XMS2-6400

Re: PC Freezing

I suspect (even though a good one), that your Antec Trio 550 is not up to the job of your video card. Do you know someone who might have at least a 650 PSU to swap in there and give it a try. With a 550, it is kind of "iffy" about whether it has enough power to pull that card when under high stress.

Re: PC Freezing

Would that realy bring on a freeze you think?

Also, forgot to mention, about the 3rd time it did it, It was a freeze, then a quick blue screen, then a reset.

Re: PC Freezing

If you don't know anyone who can loan you a power supply, do you have a lessor video card you can put in there to see if that stops the problem. If it does, then you need a stronger power supply.
