hi there
when i switch on my pc it started to power up (about 3 sec)then goes dead.the on button does not work, but if i pull out the power supply at the back and then plug back in it will start to power up again then go dead again.i do not have any response with the on button at the front:sigh |

Yep, sounds like the power supply is going or already gone. Make sure that you check your power switch on the system or swap it with the reset switch just to be sure that it's not the power switch. if the system still does the same thing then i'd say it's your power supply that had died. Maybe ask a friend or swap out one from another pc & test your system. Hope this helps!

Is this a new build or one that was working before? If a new build, you might have a short someplace, but if it has been working, most likely the power supply is gone as per the good suggestions that prestons gave you.
