hey guys, just wondering, my ram is rated at 2.1 v. i was looking at a motherboard that should support it on a site called virtual hideout, but the specs of the board claims the dimms are 1.8 v. or something like that.
http://www.virtual-hideout.net/revie...3P/index.shtml (taken from the link) Memory 4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory Dual channel memory architecture Support for DDR2 1200 (O.C.)/1066/800/667 MHz memory modules is that simply the stock voltage which can be increased? im still new at stuff like that, so any expert advice would be appreciated. |

Re: ram voltage?
most m/b default at 1.8v to cater for the ram that runs at that voltage
you need to set it in the bios to manual then move it up to the 2.1v that your runs at
