Is there any way to control the fan speed of my PSU?

Re: PSU fan

Not unless this ability is built into the power supply.

We do not suggest you open up power supplies and "mod them".

Re: PSU fan

Ahhh so the fan isn't swappable for a quieter unit...?
Someone on another page said I could...
So most websites are saying, my psu IS quiet. I dont think so though cos I can hear it through two brick walls at night (ie I can hear it from the living room)

Re: PSU fan

Most cheap PSU's are very noisy ( talking from experience ).

There is no safe way to mod them to allow you to quiet down the fan.

If its too noisy buy a better brand of PSU .

( I went from an Apevia 400W which sounded like an aeroplane, to a Thermaltake toughpower 750W which is Silent ).
