Recognized but not Used.

Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Mobo
AMD 3.2Ghz Dup
GeForce 8800 728mb
Windows 64XP

I installed my first dual kit of 2 x 2gb Ram

BIOS recognized 4gb, and useable 4gb.

I installed my second dual kit of 2 x 2gb Ram

BIOS recognized 8gb, and useable 7.5

Mobo supports 8. XP 64 supports 8.

It is only recognizing 1.5GB of one of my sticks.

Any suggestions?

Best Regards and Thanks,

TPlain

Re: Recognized but not Used.

Don't forget that your motherboard is also addressing the video memory.
