Added New RAM Now Laptop will not start!

I am trying to add a total of 4GB of RAM in my TOSHIBA Laptop, I have 2 sticks of 2GB. When I put both sticks in the laptop will not start (turn on); however, if I take one stick out (either one) the laptop starts great and recognizes the 2GB of RAM. Any thoughts?

keep pressing the memory down into the slot as you click it down

A105-???? anything after A105 (i.e. S101, S1012,...)
